PROJECT OVERVIEW

Context & Objectives

The Context

Evietek needed a brand-forward site that loads fast, ranks reliably, and scales for content. The initial Figma lacked interactions and a CMS/content plan; the goal was to ship a production-grade Next.js build with animation, SEO, and simple publishing.

Business focus: make it easy to inquire and schedule. We integrated Calendly, WhatsApp, and robust contact forms to reduce friction and encourage high-intent engagement.

Objectives & Constraints

  • Deliver < 2s LCP on primary landing pages over 4G.
  • Ship a structured blog (listing + single) with categories/tags and clean slugs.
  • Bake in on-page SEO: semantic headings, canonical, OG/Twitter, Article schema.
  • Add scroll-based motion while keeping CLS at 0.00 on key pages.
  • Integrate Calendly scheduling, WhatsApp chat, contact forms, and chatbot API.

My Responsibilities

  • Next.js architecture, routing, data fetching, and component system.

  • Scroll effects & micro-interactions with Framer Motion (reduced-motion safe).

  • Core Web Vitals tuning: images, fonts, caching, and hydration strategy.

  • Form validation, rate limiting, and error monitoring hooks.

  • CI-ready project setup, preview deployments, and content authoring DX.

What Changed

Clear, keyword-aligned headings & copy for service pages.
Image/CDN strategy (next/image) reduced transfer and boosted CWV.
Consistent CTAs mapped to discovery → evaluation → booking.
Editors can publish in minutes—no dev needed.
Structured data improves branded and services visibility.
Lower mobile bounce rates on top landing pages.
WORKING PROCESS

How It Came Together

Started with content audit and IA to align pages to search intent (services, projects, blogs, contact).

Built a component-driven system with stable layout and bounded motion to keep CLS flat while improving polish.

  • Motion should guide, not distract—staggered reveals and hover states improved clarity and perceived quality.

  • Responsive images and font loading are the biggest CWV wins on visually rich pages.

Key Decisions & Trade-offs

01

Hybrid Rendering Strategy

Static for posts + edge-rendered shells for snappy navigation and caching efficiency.

02

Animation Budget

Framer Motion used sparingly; reduced-motion respected for accessibility and performance.

Final Result

What Shipped, and How It Performs

The new site blends brand expression with measurable speed and search visibility. Editors now ship content consistently (~12/month), with semantics, canonical URLs, and social metadata baked in by default.

Calendly, WhatsApp, and contact forms streamline hand-offs, while analytics events track what’s working to guide iteration.

Challenges & Solutions

Maintaining zero layout shift with rich scroll-triggered animations.

Pre-allocated layout boxes, transform-only motion, and reduced-motion fallbacks preserved CLS = 0.00.

Ensuring consistent SEO across newly published blog posts.

Post template enforces H1/H2 structure, canonical, meta/OG, and Article schema by default.
